  1. About These Terms

Your purchase of goods or services from Adelaide Appliance Gallery is subject to these Terms, our Returns Policy and any applicable promotional terms.

By placing an Order or accepting a Quotation, you agree to these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (“ACL”).

  1. Definitions
    • “Order” means your offer to purchase goods or services from us.
    • “Quotation” means a written estimate provided by us (Quotation version only).
    • “Goods” means products supplied by us.
    • “Services” includes delivery, installation, servicing and repairs.
    • “We”, “us”, “our” means Adelaide Dishwasher Services Pty Ltd (ACN 007 956 667).
    • “You” means the purchaser.
  1. Quotations
    • All quotations are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
    • Quotations are subject to stock availability at time of Order.
    • A Quotation is not binding until accepted by us.
  1. Orders and Contract Formation

A contract is formed when:

    • You accept a Quotation; or
    • You confirm your Order; or
    • Any required deposit is paid; and
    • We accept the Order.

We may accept or reject any Order prior to acceptance.

  1. Deposits and Cancellation
    • A minimum 50% deposit is required to secure stock.
    • Deposits are refundable until goods are:
      • ordered from a supplier specifically for you;
      • allocated from stock; or
      • installation services are scheduled.

If cancellation occurs after this point, we may retain from your deposit an amount reasonably necessary to cover:

    • supplier cancellation fees;
    • freight costs incurred;
    • restocking charges;
    • reasonable administrative costs.

Any retained amount will reflect our genuine costs and will not exceed our actual loss.

If we cannot supply the goods, you are entitled to a full refund.

  1. Pricing
    • All prices are in AUD and include GST where applicable.
    • Delivery and installation charges may apply.
    • Prices may change prior to Order acceptance.
    • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before acceptance. 
  1. Payment Terms
    • Full payment must be received prior to delivery or collection.
    • Accepted methods: Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, EftPos and Cash.
    • A 2.25% surcharge applies to Square payments.

If payment is not received:

    • We will issue written notice and allow 14 days to remedy.
    • If unpaid, we may cancel the Order and retain reasonable costs incurred.
    • Any remaining balance will be refunded.
  1. Storage
    • Free storage up to 9 months.
    • After 9 months: $20 per month.
    • Unpaid storage after notice may result in cancellation and retention of reasonable costs only.
  1. Delivery
    • Delivery timeframes are estimates only.
    • Free delivery may apply within 40km of Adelaide CBD (conditions apply).
    • We remain responsible for delivery arranged by us.
    • Please notify us promptly of transit damage.
    • Additional charges may apply for undisclosed access issues.
  1. Installation
    • Standard installation includes connection to existing services and up to 60 minutes labour.
    • Additional labour charged at $45 per 15-minute increment.
    • Packaging removal $20 if requested.
    • Heat pump dryers not to be used for 24 hours.
    • Workmanship guaranteed for 30 days.
    • Guarantee is in addition to ACL rights.
  1. Service & Repairs
    • $99 call-out fee (labour additional).
    • Labour charged at $45 per 15-minute increment.
    • Workmanship guaranteed for 30 days.
    • We will rectify workmanship issues within reasonable time.
    • Excludes unrelated faults, misuse, pre-existing issues, manufacturer defects.
    • ACL rights apply.
  1. Title and Risk

Title and risk pass upon delivery or collection.

  1. Consumer Guarantees

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL.

You are entitled to:

    • replacement or refund for major failure;
    • compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage;
    • repair or replacement for non-major failures.
  1. Change of Mind Returns

We are not required to provide change-of-mind refunds.

To be considered:

    • Your request received within 14 days of purchase;
    • Goods unused and in original packaging;
    • Goods must not be part of a special-order/customised product.

If approved:

    • Restocking fee up to 20%;
    • Merchant fees non-refundable;
    • Deduction reflects actual reasonable costs only.
  1. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to:

    • repair or replacement;
    • re-supply of services;
    • refund of purchase price.

Nothing excludes ACL rights.

  1. Privacy

Privacy Policy available on our website.

  1. Force Majeure

No liability for delays beyond reasonable control.

  1. Governing Law

Governed by South Australian law.

  1. Severability

Invalid provisions do not affect remainder.

  1. Assignment

We may assign rights if business is transferred.

  1. Waiver

Failure to enforce is not waiver unless in writing.
