Oddly interesting yet equally terrifying, particularly when considering our plans to travel the world instead of maintaining a good housekeeping persona, it pays to find the right iron that can cut down on time spent performing this necessary yet annoying chore. Types of irons
Steam irons are ideal for when you have a small load of laundry to do, as they are able to moisten and stretch out the fabric, removing any creases that might have happened during the drying process. Of course, you have the option of steam generator irons as well, meant to produce twice as much steam as usual –great for removing stubborn creases. Design
When it comes to design, you can opt for a corded or cordless unit. Especially if you are prone to travelling or don’t always find yourself near a plug socket, this design option might help you get through the day while still having smooth and perfect-looking clothes. For left-handed individuals, consider the option of a pivoting cord, as lefties usually attest that they are more comfortable and more well-balanced. Additionally, bear in mind that a steam iron can always be used as a dry iron, but not the other way around.

Being able to hold around three times as much water as a regular steam iron these light alternatives will make your life easier, as you won’t need to refill them as often.
